Juice Beauty gift set

For the past two weeks I have been using the green apple age defy solution set by juice beauty. This is a 3 step program to “brighten, lighten and tighten” your skin. These products consist of “age-defying organic fruit acids with an antioxidant cocktail of peptides, DMAE, alpha lipoic acid, fat soluble vitamin C & C0Q10.”

Turning 30 this year means I am starting to get conscious about wrinkles so I couldn’t wait to get stuck into this set. The first thing I noticed when I opened up the kit is that it comes with instructions, which is a lot more helpful than it sounds. With 5 products to choose from, a different moisturiser for am and pm, and a once a week peel, I found myself referring to the guide for at least a week.

The cleanser is the first product you use and I’m glad I had the instructions. My usual cleanser is a cotton wool wipe on wipe off type, this however requires you to rub the lotion into your skin and then wash it off. I much prefer this style of cleanser, it smells lovely and when I removed the cleanser my face felt really clean and fresh.

You then apply the serum. With this a little goes a long way so use it sparingly. Once this has dried in you then apply the moisturiser.

The very first time I completed this regime my face felt tighter and my skin softer. Having now used it twice a day for two weeks I can honestly say my skin is much softer, brighter and firmer and I will definitely be continuing with these products.

The final item in the set is the full strength peel. The instructions advise you to use this once a week, applying a generous layer to your skin and washing it off after 10minutes. I have now used this twice and it is my favourite product in the range. When it is on you can feel a slight tingling sensation, nothing painful just something that lets you know it’s working. Once washed off my face feels a lot tighter and unlike other peels I have used in the past I really felt like this worked.

If you are looking for a new regime I would recommend this set, it’s a great way of seeing if it agrees with you without paying full price for a number of products. I also love how it is aimed at those aged 20 and over. So many companies focus on over 40s but it’s more important to take preventative measures early on then try desperately to remove wrinkles once they have laid claim to your face. Might have to give this a try, I am so lazy with skincare but at 37 its starting to show, time to get into a regime.
